  1. Bob Seger Tribute Lookin’ Back Performs Anthology Concert

“From Then To Now” Debuts At McMorran Place Theater!

Bob Seger’s Old Time Rock N Roll that most of us grew up listening to on the radio comes alive January 12 in Port Huron. The nation’s most followed Bob Seger tribute band is guaranteed to soothe your soul and take you waaaaayyy back to where it all began – on vinyl 45’s. Lookin’ Back’ Anthology titled “From Then To Now” is essentially a chronological retrospective designed to cover Mr. Seger’s entire career in little more than two hours.

Band founder and drummer Todd Stoney describes this particular show simply. “I tell people it’s a fast paced This Is Your Life – Bob Seger concert experience that mixes up many expected standard radio hits, forgotten fan favorites and several title tracks. We get the biggest reactions performing Bob’s earliest songs because nobody else does, and for many fans they’ve only heard them on scratchy 45’s – never live.”

The show format includes at least one, no more than two songs from each of Bob Seger’s 20 albums. From the band opening number East Side Story (vintage 1966) to The Highway “I Knew You When” (vintage 2017) offers concert-goers a unique opportunity to hear Bob’s music evolve over this two hour sequentially arranged program. Bob’s most devoted long-time fans will not want to be late for this one.

Lookin’ Back, a seven-piece Detroit-based group performs its 4th show in 8 years at McMorran Place January 12. The same week one year ago Lookin’ Back performed Bob Seger’s entire Stranger In Town record for the first time that started a yearlong 40th Anniversary celebration of his highest charting album. This time Lookin’ Back returns Port Huron to drop a little music history on us for the first time. Don’t worry, there’s little time for talk when 53 years and 20 albums get boiled down to two hours!

Lookin’ Back has performed with original Silver Bullet Band members on four separate occasions, rocked the Palace Of Auburn Hills for over 11,000 Detroit Piston’s fans (Bob Seger Appreciation Night), and has opened for national acts like Loverboy and Average White Band. Since the band debut in 2009 they have gone on to headline all but four of their 155 shows and keep in mind they’ve managed to sell out 33 of 41 ticketed events.

Lookin’ Back is rock-n-rolling McMorran Place January 12th. Don’t miss Bob Seger music performed by musicians who profoundly identify and capture the man’s poetry and unrivaled energy. Tickets are $21 and available at the McMorran Place box office or online at
